Battlefield 4
Battlefield 4 was announced a while ago and we got some new info and gameplay of the multiplayer at E3. Because single player is still the same ol' linear pile of shit, so I will only show info of the multiplayer.
The Multiplayer has been largely fixed and changed to increase squad play, something that battlefield 3 has lost with the time. They reintroduced the commander mode, which is good and bad for the game at the same time and changed a lot of other little things to balance the vehicles and the classes.
The commander mode is the way EA introduced the companion tablet madness into battlefield. In this mode, the commander decides where the squad leaders should go and marks the objectives that they are supposed to capture, drops supply crates and calls in ballistic missiles, UAV's and gunships.

The good thing about the commander mode is the fact that, if the commander knows what he is doing, teams will work in a more strategic and realistic way and not run around like a group of idiots. The problem is that both commanders need to be perfectly balanced, because if one commander is a lot better than the other, the team with the worst commander will probably loose, no matter how hard they try.
Other changes to Battlefield include the changes in order to balance classes. Carbines and a new wepon class, the designated sniper rifles (like the sks), are now available for all classes along with the pdw's and shotguns. Also, recon has now access to c4, wich gives him a bit of a chance against vehicles.

titanfall
Titanfall is the so-called respawn's new fps and it is an online shooter that focuses on some kind of multyplayer campaign, without being an rpg.
It's gameplay is fast paced and focuses on 2 main classes: the titans and the pilots.
The Pilots are the infantry on this game. They can run really fast, walk on walls and double jump using jet packs.
The Titans are the only vehicle in the game and they are customized like the infantry. They are fast mechs with heavy armor.

Overall, this isn't a very new type of game. For me, it looks like a space CoD with mechs and jetpacks, but maybe they can do something new with it. It certanly looks promising
